Community involvement

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

Annual Fireworks Spectacular

Enjoy a fantastic evening with food stalls, market stalls, games, entertainment, rides, and, of course, an amazing fireworks display. It's a night of fun for the entire school community and neighborhood!

All proceeds will go towards supporting our school. Don't miss out on this exciting event!

Mother's Day/Father's Day Breakfasts

Always a great morning celebrating all our mothers, grandmothers, fathers and grandfathers and those playing a role of mother and father for our kids. Lots of smiles, yummy food, shared activities to celebrate the days.

2025 Movie Night

Special screening organised for our community to help raise some funds to support our school and give our students and their families a great time under the stars.

What we do as a P&C

The staff at Eastwood Heights Public School enjoy a strong partnership with our parents and community members.

We understand the importance of the whole school community working together to benefit the students. Parents can be involved in the school in numerous ways:

• being actively involved in the P&C and their committees
• volunteering to help staff the school canteen
• supporting fundraising events
• enjoying social events
• helping teachers in the classroom (such as during literacy and numeracy groups)
• assisting teachers on excursions
• planning and staffing the Year 6 Farewell
• provide a supporting role at sporting events
• supporting school events
• welcoming new parents to the community

P&C meetings

We meet @ 7:00pm on the second Tuesday of the month (except in school holidays) in the Staff room at Eastwood Heights Public School. To learn about our P&C meetings, contact us today.

Volunteer at our school
