The school counselling service provides psychological counselling, assessment and intervention services to students in NSW public schools.
The school counselling service staff work directly with students to help them with issues related to mental health, learning and wellbeing.
They work collaboratively with Department wellbeing services and school learning and support teams to improve student outcomes and strengthen wellbeing practices in schools.
All school students from pre-school to Year 12 can acces the service. The school counselling service includes senior psychologist education, leader pyschology practice and staff working in corporate roles whose core buisness relates to the school counselling service.
